WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

LILAC is proud to announce our partnership with the Syosset High School Library in celebration of Women's History Month and LILAC’s ThankYou & WeCare Initiative! This slideshow showcasing Ruth Bader Ginsburg & produced by LILAC members and SHS students Alyssa Pinto and Tina Chen was displayed at the Syosset High School’s Innovation Lab. RBG was a woman of great resolve and inspiring motivation, and we at LILAC seek to reflect her legacy and determination as we aim to align our mission to honor what she fought for.⁠⁠

We are so incredibly excited about our collaboration with Stone Soup in hosting our TYWC submissions on their Submittable platform. We look forward to seeing everyone’s inspiring work, because we all need it as we make it though this pandemic, day by day. Our TYWC submissions have already done so much for those who have received them, encouraging and uplifting their spirits to continue fighting together as a community.⁠⠀
